This color, cut and stick bee craft can be completed in just 6 simple steps, making it ideal for young children, including preschoolers, and requires just a few supplies.

Whether you’re exploring insect topics or diving into captivating bee readings, this craft will bring the fascinating world of bees to life in a colorful and interactive way.

And to expand your Arty Crafty Kids creative adventure into the world of insects, our 3D Bee can be made with our 3D Dragonfly Craft and 3D Beetle finger-puppets!

Older children may love to use their artistic skills to draw and paint a bee, while the younger one’s make, paper plate bees, bobble head bees and handprint bees!

How to Make the 3D Paper Bee

Materials: 

• Card Stock for Printing 
• Coloring Medium 
• Glue Stick 
• Scissors

TIP: Make sure the printer settings are set to ‘fit to page’ and will accept heavy weighted paper.

Now lets make a 3D Bee!

Step 1: Use a favorite coloring medium to decorate the bee template.

Step 2: Cut out the Bee elements from the template.

Step 3: Roll the large rectangular body piece into a tube and secure with a generous spread of glue.

Step 4: Fold the flaps on the bee’s wings and apply a generous spread of glue to each.

Next, affix the wings to either side of the bee’s body.

Step 5: Affix the bee’s head to the top of its body.

Step 6: Affix the antenna’s to the bee’s head.

Through just six simple steps of coloring, cutting, and sticking, children can create their own adorable bee craft.

This craft not only provides a fun and engaging playtime experience but also serves as a wonderful addition to insect-themed lessons at school or as a support tool for reading about bees.
