White Cardstock
Coloured Construction Paper
Coloured Pencils or Crayons

How to Make the Easy Santa Christmas Card
Prepare the Template
Step 1: Children can either colour the nose and hat OR cut out the elements and trace around the shapes on to red (or coloured ) paper.
Trace the Circular Face
Step 2: Place the cut out circular shape on to the bottom of a piece of white cardstock.
Trace the shape and create two markers either side of the circle (as directed on the template).
Cut Out the Elements
Step 3: Colour the circle a flesh colour.
Fold the Cardstock
Step 4: Fold the cardstock inline with the markers drawn out earlier.
Cut out the Circular Card
Step 5: Start from the fold and cut out the circular shape – this will become the base of the Santa (or elf) Christmas card.
Add the Elements
Step 7: Glue the hat to the top of the card (covering up the fold). The top of the hat will sit above the fold.
Add the eyes.
Add Cotton Wool
Step 8: Glue cotton wool to the rim and tip of the hat and create a Santa beard.
Complete the Santa Christmas Card with a Big Red Nose
Step 9: Complete the Santa Christmas Card with a big red nose that sits on top of the woolly beard.
Complete the Elf Christmas Card with a Big Smile
To create an Elf version of the Easy Santa Christmas Card, change the colour of the hat and replace the fluffy beard with a big smile!
