A Favorite Coloring Medium
Scissors
Glue Stick

Let’s Start Coloring!

Step 1: Use a favorite medium to color in the chick coloring page.

Coloring is a fantastic way for children to explore new mediums and blending techniques.

Our coloring pages are perfect for crayons, coloring pencils and marker pens, however it’s always fun to play and watercolor brush pens or pencils and soft pastel pencils take coloring to a new level!

They’re great mediums for blending and creating interesting tones and shades.

Step 2: Carefully cut out the 3D Chick egg shells.

Step 3: Select an egg shell and fold the flaps onto the blank side without the black outline.

Step 4: Apply a generous spread of glue to each flap.

Step 5: Affix the egg shell piece to an appropriate place on the chick coloring page.

The placements are marked by blank rectangles on the coloring page with each chick having an upper and lower shell.

The broken egg shells all differ in the size so Arty Crafty Kids will need to use their problem solving skills to match the egg pieces and placements up!

Continue affixing the egg shell pieces.

To enhance the 3D effect, the egg shells might need a gentle bend to encourage their curves.

Once all the egg pieces are secured, the 3D chick coloring page is complete and ready to be put on display!
