Calling all young superheroes-in-training! Father’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to show your dad how super he is than by creating a one-of-a-kind Paper Roll Superhero Bear Craft!
This fun-filled craft is perfect for children aged 3 to 8, combining creativity, imagination, and a whole lot of superhero spirit.
Using simple materials like paper rolls, construction paper, and our handy template, you’ll be able to assemble an adorable bear who’s ready to save the day alongside your dad.

How to Make the Paper Roll Superhero Bear Craft for Father’s Day
Materials:
- Construction Paper – Blue, Red, Brown and Beige
- Paper Roll
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Black Marker Pen

Let’s make a Superhero Bear
Step 1: Print the template and cut out the bear elements.
For tracing, print the template onto regular paper.
If your Arty Crafty Kids would like to color in the template, swap the paper for card stock and adjust the printer settings accordingly.
Step 2: Wrap the paper roll in brown construction paper.
Step 3: Next wrap a strip of blue paper around the bottom of the paper roll.
This blue area will form part of the superhero top.
Step 4: Trace (or color) the cape and superhero badge onto red paper.
Step 5: Assemble the bears head, adding ears, cape and mouth.
The mouth should be a contrasting shade to the bears head.
Step 6: Use a black marker pen to draw a pair of eyes, a nose and a smiley mouth.
Step 7: Add a slim red strip of paper to the bottom of the bears superhero top and affix the red badge.
Step 8: Glue an arm to both sides of the bear and affix the cape to the bears back.
Step 9: Gently fold the arms to meet and secure with glue. Affix a heart (with a personal message) on top of the join.
Our message to dad is “you are my hero”.
Step 10: Complete the bear by adding a pair of feet! use a black marker for extra detailing.
